Introduction
Animal Crossing: New Horizons revolves around living a peaceful life on a deserted island, adventuring with friends, and taking care of your island's residents, but mostly it revolves around traveling! There are about 18 types of deserted islands to visit in the game, some of them very elusive and hard to get to. To embark on a deserted island search, you have to buy a Nook Miles Ticket and show it to Orville at your local airport. Each ticket costs 2000 Nook Miles, which means that you'll need quite a lot of this currency is you want to visit multiple. If you add the fact that you can meet new villagers, during your deserted island voyages, and that "the best" villagers spawn very rarely, you looking at an incredibly high amount of Nook Miles you will have to earn if you want to search for new residents via the mystery tours feature.
This Guide goes over the main ways of earning Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nook Miles and gives you some hints about how to spend them (there are many more things to be redeemed for Nook Miles than just tickets, and there's that one greedy Racoon...).

How to Make Nook Miles
Nook Miles+/Daily Tasks
These become available once you unlock the house. To check which tasks are available to you at any given day, just open your Nook Miles app and select "Nook Miles+" - the top-middle button. Usually, these "quests" are very easy and quick to complete, moreover, the first five give double the reward (first five you find in the app, not the first five you complete). Once you complete a task and pick up your reward from the tab, a new task will become available; this is where a real profit can be made. If you set up your inventory properly, have all the tools at hand, and keep things like native and non-native fruit, saplings, and shells (basically, any item that might be needed for a Nook Miles+ Task) on you, you should be able to make around 8-10k Nook Miles per hour by spamming the tasks. Achieving 10k/hour requires some skill, but you will easily get to that level after some practice; it's all about proper micromanagement and optimizing your inventory space. Below, we present you with a complete list of the possible Nook Miles+ tasks. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with them and prepare any item, that might be needed, beforehand. |

Daily Nook Stop Rewards
The Nook Stop is a special terminal that allows you to buy various items for your Nook Miles (or for Bells, but only from the "Nook Shopping" section) and deposit/withdraw your hard-earned Bells to/from your bank account (so, it also functions as the Automatic Bell Dispenser). Moreover, Nook Stop is the place where you can buy Nook Miles Tickets (for 2000 Nook Miles each). Using the Nook Stop on a daily basis will award you with Nook Miles; the amount you get will rise each day until it reaches 300, which is the maximum. This means that it is a good idea to interact with the Nook Stop every day! |

Completing Stamp Cards/Earning Passport Titles
Now, who doesn't like completing achievements, especially if they are of the "fun" sort? Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a plethora of them - they are called Stamp Cards. These are designed to reward you for progressing through the game naturally, but you can also focus on completing them if you are a completionist. Overall, there are about 88 "achievements" to be unlocked and most of them have 3-5 milestones which amount to hundreds upon hundreds of unlockable "stamps". Each achieved milestone gives you a unique Title Keyword and a set amount of Nook Miles (each consecutive milestone gives more!). The sheer number of the available tasks ensures that everybody will find something to do, even if they are not interested in some parts of the game (don't like fishing? Ok, let's just try Bug-Catching instead!). Completing these tasks usually requires quite a lot of time; They would not be worth completing for just Nook Miles as Nook Miles+ Tasks are much faster and can be easily farmed, but Nook Miles are not the only thing you get... Large amounts of Bells are a common byproduct of completing these achievements. For example, you embark on a Tarantula-catching expedition, fill your inventory with them multiple times, earn tons of Bells, and you get some Nook Miles from the "You've Got the Bug" task as a nice bonus. Below, we present some of the more interesting and easy to complete tasks. |

While there are multiple ways to attract new residents, earning a lot of Nook Miles, exchanging them for Nook Miles Tickets, and embarking on mystery tours is the fastest way of finding them. We hope that this guide will help you with the "earning a lot of Nook Miles" part. We hope that you have found this guide useful and informative.
